As a country music aficionado, I have had the privilege of attending many concerts and interviewing some of the best and brightest in the industry. In today’s blog post, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to delve back into some of my favourite interviews…
Zac Brown Band
Interviewing Zac Brown Band was an unforgettable experience in 2017, and their down-to-earth personalities were evident throughout the conversation. During the interview, they spoke about their then-upcoming album "Welcome Home" and how it was a departure from their previous work. They also spoke about their love for performing and why they keep coming back to the UK.
Now, Zac Brown Band has won numerous awards and are widely considered to be one of the most successful country music groups of all time.
Seth Ennis
I had the opportunity to sit down with rising star Seth Ennis in 2019 and was impressed by his easy-going personality and infectious smile. During the interview, he spoke about his then-new single "Call Your Mama" and how it was a tribute to his own mother. He also shared some insights into his creative process and his goals for the future.
Today, Seth Ennis continues to captivate audiences with his soulful voice and relatable lyrics. He has since released several more singles and is quickly making a name for himself in the country music world.
Catherine McGrath
Catherine McGrath was one of the first artists I interviewed on Ciara's Country, and I was blown away by her talent and charisma. During the interview, she spoke about her debut album "Talk of This Town" and how she drew inspiration from her own life experiences. She also shared some of her favourite songwriting tips and what it’s like to work with some of the greatest songwriters in Nashville.

Darius Rucker was one of the most gracious artists I have ever interviewed, and I was honoured to have the opportunity to talk to him. During the interview, UK vs US audiences, along with his growth as an artist. He also spoke about his love for performing and what he hopes his fans will take away from his music.
Today, Darius Rucker is still a force to be reckoned with in the country music world and continues to release memorable songs and perform for his fans.
Avery Anna
Avery Anna was one of the most vibrant and energetic artists I have had the pleasure of interviewing. During our conversation, she spoke about going viral on TikTok and getting extra personal with her fans. She also spoke about her love for performing and how she hopes to inspire other aspiring musicians with her music.
Today, Avery Anna is still making waves in the country music scene and continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances.
Dan + Shay
Dan + Shay were a joy to interview in 2016, and their easy-going personalities made for a fun and lighthearted conversation. During the interview, they spoke about their then-new album "Obsessed" and how it was a reflection of their growth as a duo. They also shared some of their favourite memories from touring and their love for Cam and Walker Hayes.
Now, Dan + Shay are one of the biggest names in country music and continue to release chart-topping songs and sell out shows.

Travis Denning was a blast to interview in 2020, and he had us all laughing with his quick wit and charming personality. During the interview, he spoke about writing songs for Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Chase Rice and more. He also shared some of his favorite moments on the road and who his guitar heroes are.
Now, Travis Denning is one of the hottest names in the Nashville country scene and continues to release hit after hit. He has become a staple on the country music festival circuit and has toured extensively.
Brad Paisley
Brad Paisley was one of the most charming artists I have ever interviewed, and his love for music and his fans came through time and time again throughout our conversation. During the interview, he spoke about his then-upcoming album "Love and War" and how it was a reflection of his personal experiences. He also shared some of his favourite memories from his career and advice he’d give to up-and-coming artists.
Now, Brad Paisley is widely considered to be one of the most influential artists in the genre and continues to inspire and entertain fans across the world, and will be returning to our shores this March for C2C Country to Country 2024!
